Meet Our Leadership
Our Pastor.
​As a child Pastor Rob attended a Baptist elementary school where he accepted Jesus as his personal Savior. In middle school, Pastor Rob changed schools and began attending a pentecostal church. By high school, Pastor Rob had drifted from the Lord and was not attending church at all; although, he always remembered the things he learned.
While attending college at Florida State University Pastor Rob met his future wife Rebecca. In his mid 20’s Pastor Rob began attending Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where Rob's faith began to develop and mature as he was taught the bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse.
In 2004, God led Pastor Rob to a home Bible study in Wellington, FL. It was here that God began to call him into ministry. As the bible study grew into a church, Pastor Rob developed his leadership skills as member of the Board of Directors and as an elder. He also taught the Word of God in small groups, at conferences, and from the pulpit. Rob's calling to be a pastor was confirmed by the Lord through the scriptures, prayer, and the counsel of other believers. God also made it clear that Rob was called to Cumberland, Maryland, where he spent many memorable childhood summers visiting his grandparents. To prepare for this ministry, Rob then began a training program under the direction of the Senior Pastor at Calvary Chapel Wellington.
In 2008, Rob was ordained as a pastor, retired from his career in law enforcement and moved to Cumberland Maryland to plant a Calvary Chapel. Over the next 11 years, we watched the Lord work as we took steps of faith to launch a full powered radio station (WLIC 97.1) and open an addictions discipleship program. During this time, Pastor Rob and Rebecca made some very dear friends as they walked alongside the people in Cumberland.
In 2019, the Lord called Pastor Rob to turn over the church in Cumberland and move to Ormond Beach, Florida. After moving to Ormond Beach, we sought the Lord for what was next in our lives. Three years later, the Lord called Pastor Rob to start Cornerstone Christian Fellowship of Ormond Beach. The ministry began as a small Bible study in Pastor Rob and Rebecca’s home.
